Mr. Tony Cardenas comes to talk to students about how he became a Congressman, the issues he’s working on for the state and his advice for students of color who want to get involved in politics and represent the U.S.
While most students will be shading inside a scantron bubble for their AP exams, AP Studio Art students will be coloring outside the lines to display their artistic ability.
Despite starting off with two wins against Robert Fulton College Preparatory School and Reseda High School, the team went into a tailspin, losing 11 consecutive games.
The Wolves finished the regular season 10-0 — undefeated. Competitors 0-10 Reseda and 4-6 Sylmar posed little resistance. Kennedy was in the midst of a transition year, having lost many seniors and training the new younger classmen into a new team. Their position as the cross-town Van Nuys rivals was replaced by the SOCES Knights, but the Wolves were clearly the stronger team.
