Three UC campuses have extended their application deadline

UC Santa Cruz, UC Riverside and UC Merced are still accepting freshman applications through Dec. 15.

College applications for the rest of the schools in the UC system were due Nov. 30.

University of California (UC) Santa Cruz, UC Riverside and UC Merced have all extended their deadline to Dec. 15.

Seniors now have until next Tuesday to submit their college applications to these three schools.

Ani Tutunjyan the Executive Editor and Print Editor-in-Chief for The Mirror. She joined the program in her freshman year as a Current Events writer and she is now in her fourth year of publication as a senior. Ani has won a number of regional and national awards for her News and Features writing. Outside of journalism, she is involved in TASSEL Cambodia and Operation Period. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music and cooking. She would love to go to Italy to experience the rich history and beautiful architecture. Ani intends to major in law or journalism when she applies to colleges this fall.

Established in 2016, the Mirror is an award-winning student-run online publication designed to deliver timely, accurate news as well as unique and eye-opening opinions, reviews and photography to the Van Nuys High School community. It exists as a platform for students to utilize their First Amendment right to express themselves freely and without fear.
