9. Somebody Somewhere (Season three)

The Peabody Award-winning and critically acclaimed series follows Sam (Bridget Everett), a true Kansan on the surface who, beneath it all, struggles to fit the hometown mold. As she grapples with loss and acceptance, singing becomes Sam’s saving grace. It leads her on a journey to discover herself and a community of outsiders who don’t fit in but don’t give up, proving that finding your people and your voice is possible. 

This melancholy dramedy fights against all odds as we watch the main character find her place outside of her small town.This show resonated with many people just trying to fit in as it not only showed the ups but many of the downs as you find yourself and your people. It left people with hope that for everyone there is Somebody Somewhere.
