Alyssa Pelayo, Staff Writer

Alyssa Pelayo, a freshman, is on the staff of The Mirror, the award-winning student newspaper and website at Van Nuys High School in Los Angeles. Her main interests are the world and music. The music she likes is everything, but specifically rap. One of her interests is rap collectives. She loves everyone and thinks people can do whatever they want. What she would love others to know about her is that she is very talkative and loves to meet different people. The sports team she supports is Chivas, from Guadalajara, Jalisco, in Mexico, a renowned soccer team. Her plans after graduating from Van Nuys High School are to attend Cal State Northridge and become a psychiatric nurse.
