Vaccination stations set up in the small gym allow for students and adults to get vaccinated ON campus safely.

For those still in need of the covid vaccine, LAUSD’s mobile vaccination team will be on campus from 12 pm to 7 pm in the small gym on Nov.19.

Students under the age of 18 must have a parental consent form signed by their parent/guardian before receiving the vaccine. Appointments for vaccines are available on the daily pass site, however, walk-ins are allowed.

In accordance with district guidelines set forth by LAUSD, all students must be fully vaccinated by Jan. 10, 2022, unless the student has a medical or other qualified exemption.

In order to meet return to school in person, the district’s vaccination requirement must be met. Students 12 years or older must receive both shots of the Pfizer vaccine. For those 18 or older, alternative vaccines offered by Johnson & Johnson (which only requires one shot) and Moderna (which requires two shots) are also acceptable.

Proof of vaccination should be uploaded to a student’s daily pass profile before the Jan. 10 deadline. Accepted forms of proof include a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) covid vaccination record card, a World Health Organization (WHO) vaccine record card or documentation of vaccination from a healthcare provider or from the organization/service that provided the vaccine.

Those who have either chosen not to get vaccinated or failed to provide proof of full immunization by the Jan. 10 deadline will no longer be allowed on campus. LAUSD will offer those students enrollment in an online independent study program run by the City of Angels School known as the Online Virtual Academy. These courses offered online through Edgenuity’s online curriculum are accredited by both the State of California and by the University of California system.
