1. What made you choose to teach at Van Nuys? What was your first impression of the school?

My Husband actually went here, so did my Brother- in – Law. Once I met all the teachers, and saw the school I really liked it, and did not apply anywhere else. 

2. What subject do you teach, and how long have you been teaching it? Is there another subject you would have been interested in teaching as well?

English, and this is my first year. I would have been interested in teaching Theatre too.

3. What are they looking forward to in their new year at Van Nuys?

Getting to know my students, the process, and being able to be more confident about being a teacher.

4. How has it been so far adjusting to a new school?

Pretty good. The first week was alot, but i’m enjoying getting to know my students, and the school. 

5. Outside of school, what do you enjoy doing?

I enjoy hanging out with my pets and my husband. Watching movies, reading, and singing karaoke

6. Was teaching your first career choice?

Teaching is my second career choice. I went into more high paying jobs but didn’t like it.

7. What is one thing you want everyone to know about you?

That i’m around if any of the students need to talk.
