Meta Astles is a Features Staff Writer and a Photo Assistant for The Mirror at Van Nuys High School. She is currently a junior in her first year publication in the program. Outside of Journalism, Meta volunteers in a program that provides care packages for the homeless and assists the homeless needs. Besides writing stories for the school newspaper, Meta practices her photography. She enjoys street photography and fashion photography. She plans on majoring in cinematography in college.
