GIRLS GOLF: Three way battle for the top.
On Thursday, Oct.19 Van Nuys participated in the League Finals held at Balboa Park.
Throughout the eighteen hole course, the Wolves were effective with their drive and iron shots. With their effective chip shots, Van Nuys was in striking distance for a birdie and even an eagle. However, due to misinterpretations of the slopes and the wind, they faced missed shots a few inches. Van Nuys would regain their composure in the final holes, as they drained multiples birdies.
League Finals Standings: Cleveland (409), Granada Hills (423), Van Nuys (452).
Honorable Mentions: May Nuchit and Madison Dulkanchainun made West Valley All-League Second Team.
