GIRLS TENNIS: Short handed Wolves gets the job done
The Van Nuys Girls Varsity Tennis team won their seventh match of their league against Kennedy High School, on Thursday, Oct.19.
“We were missing a couple of varsity players for this game, but overall I’m proud that we didn’t think of that as a weakness.” said Varsity Captain, Nithya Ravichandran. “Instead, we worked around it and played to our advantages.”
The girls’ swiftness and quick movements on the court worked in their favor and helped them to achieve victory. Despite the absence of their usual players, the team rallied together as they stomped over the Cougars.
