Local Wildfire Recovery Groups & Shelters

Many local shelters and volunteer organizations, such as those in Santa Barbara, Ventura, or other fire-prone areas, are in urgent need of volunteers this weekend to help with shelter management, food distribution and emotional support for evacuees. You can reach out directly to local organizations to help. Options include the Ventura County Disaster Response, which often has immediate needs for volunteers and the Santa Barbara Red Cross, which is also in urgent need for volunteers assisting evacuees and supporting shelters.
