The team was incredibly overjoyed when on Saturday, Oct. 28th, they found out they qualified for the playoffs.
It has been over six years since the team last made it, and the entire team and coaching staff could not be happier.
The team ended their season with an overall record of four wins and six losses, their best score in years. The Wolves will be playing the Chavez High School Eagles, who have the same overall record. The teams will battle it out this Friday, Nov. 3, at Chavez High School.
“It was a good feeling – a feeling of excitement because making it to the playoffs was a goal that we had as a team,” varsity captain Abraham Ceja said.
“It also feels good to be part of the team that broke that record of not making it to the playoffs.”
