Although the hail was short lived, the auspicious timing allowed for all to experience it.

Previously, news and weather websites predicted legendary snowfall in Los Angeles, but only rain was forecasted in Van Nuys.

Snowfall was expected around mountains near the Hollywood sign and areas near the midwest, specifically in the Santa Clarita and Antelope Valley. Only rain was predicted in Los Angeles. However, today at around 1:04, Van Nuys High School’s students and faculty went out to a windy lunch and later light hail for about six to 10 minutes.

Students were in awe and many mistook the substance for snow.

From writing stories at the back of my elementary school notebooks to my unhealthy obsession with law-themed shows, (especially Lucifer), I've always loved telling and reading stories. As a returning staff member to the Mirror publication, I intend to explore my interest in writing in a more in-depth way as well as reporting stories in a dynamic and interesting perspective. Besides writing and law, I'm an absolute sucker for the kpop industry.
