On Tuesday, Nov. 15, the class of 2026 received a warm welcome to the school by enjoying the first event dedicated to them. Similar to Senior Kickoff, Freshman Funday is an event hosted by ASB and held on the football field during periods 5 and 6 to give freshmen the opportunity to bond, play games and eat snacks.
Clubs had an opportunity to set up booths to entice interested freshmen.
Freshmen also received chips, cookies and bottled water to snack on as they chatted with friends.
Other groups, such as band, also performed to entertain, and maybe even convince, freshmen to join their group in the future.
