Kobe’s legacy as a NBA legend remains secure by the millions that remember him after his death.

Perhaps the most influential basketball player in recent history, or perhaps all time. Two years ago, on Jan. 26,2020, Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna Bryant lost their lives in a helicopter accident that took many other lives as well.

Since then, people’s lives all around America, maybe even all around the world, have been moved by Kobe’s death and his life story, and how his bright kindness shined through people.

Personally, I remember meeting Kobe in 2018, and finally realized why he was such an impactful player. Growing up, I remember watching Kobe play and seeing how explosive of a player he was on the court, and seeing how kind he was off of it.

My friend was diagnosed with cancer a few years back and I remember his Make-A-Wish being to meet Kobe Bryant. Not only was he extremely kind, but he provided so much happiness to my friend as well as a signed jersey and season tickets.

After Kobe died, perhaps the entire world felt the impact of his death. The way that someone so phenomenal, so game changing, so influential both on and off the court could die the way he did was absolutely heart-breaking.

Kobe had a tremendous amount of talent and it’s unfortunate that someone as amazing as him could die.

We recognize Kobe’s two year anniversary. Kobe clearly cared about all the people around him and he will be remembered for an extremely long time.

Rest in peace Kobe Bryant.
