Calling all fans of Harry Potter, theater or both. The drama team prepare for a three day show in November.

The theater department will return to the stage with their production of “PUFFS, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic” from Nov. 18 to 20 in the Donna Hubbard Auditorium.

Pre-sale tickets will be sold for $8 and at-the-door tickets will be $10.

The show on Thursday, Nov. 18 will begin at 4 p.m. The show the following day will take place at 7 p.m., and the final shows on Saturday will be at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Tickets are strictly sold online this year and can be purchased online.

Ticket information is also linked in the last posts on their Instagram.

“PUFFS” follows protagonist Wayne Hopkins who receives a letter revealing he is a wizard and must attend the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. When the new generation of wizards and witches arrive at the common room, they are sorted into one of four houses: the Braves, the Snakes, the Smarts and the Puffs. In partnership with their housemates, individuals earn points which dictate each house’s rank from first to last place.

This play depicts the never-before-told stories of the Puffs, who are often scored last place, particularly due to their lack of technique and skill. In order to finally be awarded first place, the characters must work together to overcome obstacles and prove themselves to the wizarding world.

Updates about the play will be posted on Instagram @vnhs_drama.
