The PSAT is being administered on Wednesday, Oct. 10.

As a result, the school will be on block schedule Wednesday and Thursday.

On Wednesday, students will report to their test taking location if they are participating. Those who are not taking the PSAT will attend periods 1, 4 and 6, while all students will attend periods 2, 3, and 5. Each block period will be about two hours.

The PSAT is a practice Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) that allows students to prepare for what exactly will be on the actual test that most juniors and seniors need to apply to college.

All 10th graders will be taking the PSAT. Only those who signed up in 9th and 11th grade will be taking it.

During the first period block students will receive instructions, as well as work on the reading and writing/language portions of the test.

During the second period block students will be doing math.

All students will attend regular classes starting with the final sixth period block after lunch.
