BOYS VOLLEYBALL: Strong serving lifts Van Nuys to victory.

Lauren Woolsey | Sports Editor
March 13, 2018

The Boys Volleyball Team traveled to Panorama on Monday, Mar.13.

“We were playing really well during the first and second sets,” said Captain Jacob Lee. “Even though we let our guard down during the last set, we were still able to win the match.”

The Van Nuys Wolves started the game off with strong serves as they built an early lead for themselves. Consistent setting and passing allowed the Wolves to win with a score of 25-8 in the first two sets. The passing became sloppy in the third set as it created numerous unforced errors. Ultimately, Van Nuys rallied back and finished the match with a 25-18 win.

FINAL SCORE: 25-8, 25-8, 25-18.

NEXT GAME: Van Nuys @ San Fernando on Monday, Mar. 19 at 4 pm.
