LAUSD Aids Hurricane Harvey Victims

Starting on Sept. 6, LAUSD is accepting donations of any sort to aid the victims of Hurricane Harvey. Some donations include new or slightly used clothing, school supplies, and toiletries. Any of these items can be brought to one of the secured donation centers, which are open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The district is asking that these donations be made no later than Tuesday, Sept. 12. All donations will be sent to the Houston Independent School District.
