Experience Julefest in Solvang

Julefest, the Danish-style winter holiday, runs from Nov. 24, 2023, to Jan. 6, 2024, in Solvang, CA. This weekend, the town will host the most important ceremonies of the holiday, like the Tree Lighting Ceremony on Dec. 1 and the Solvang Julefest Parade on Dec. 2. The Tree Lighting Ceremony signifies the beginning of the celebration by adorning a Christmas tree with sparkling lights on First Street and Mission Square and celebrating with live music and dance performances.
