This dark drama caught everyone’s attention fast. After being a one-man play based on a true story this tale was turned into a series earlier this year. Richard Gadd, the playwright for the original one-man act, played his character in the show, Donny Dunn. This series follows Donny as he deals with very harsh themes of trauma and abuse. This series left people with a much deeper understanding of the devastating reality of such themes, leading it to be a highly liked show.
