Angel Avendano, a senior, is on the staff of The Mirror, the award-winning student newspaper and website at Van Nuys High School in Los Angeles. In his free time, he likes to play football, play video games and draw. He also likes walking around the park or watching sports. One of his favorite things to do is watch horror movies, and he’s obsessed with football, especially his favorite team, the Las Vegas Raiders, who he has liked since he was a little kid. After he graduates, he plans to go to UCLA or USC because it has always been his dream to attend one of those universities, and he wants to major in pre-law. He currently participates in football, and what he loves most about it is how it’s a team sport. His favorite movie is “Toy Story” because it has been his childhood movie, and his favorite video game is “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End” because it’s about two brothers who reunite after years apart and then go on a treasure hunt together. When it comes to music, he listens to all types, but his favorite singer is Mac DeMarco.
