The Boy’s JV basketball team and Girl’s Varsity challenged the teachers of Van Nuys on Thursday, Nov.16. The Girl’s Varsity Team started it off the game and displayed effortless passing, allowing them to score at the paint. After ten minutes of play, the Boy’s JV Team was subbed in. They quickly established the tempo of the game as they pushed the pace, resulting in several fastbreak points. The students would cap off a 26-10 win with two slam dunks in the final few seconds. —Christian Naves on November 17, 2017
