101 Flowers for Our Principal

Parents from the VNHS community gave 101 flowers to Principal Yolanda Gardea on Wednesday, October 26 as a gift of appreciation for her service to the school. Every year, Mrs. Rose Avetisyan, the Van Nuys Parent Center Coordinator, organizes the event. Parents from the community handpick a flowers from their home gardens to present to Ms. Gardea for all the work she has done on behalf of Van Nuys High School students and parents.
