Van Nuys will be showcasing student-made fiction films, documentaries and commercials on Feb. 24 and March 2.

“I’m really excited about the festival and I think it’s a great opportunity for students to show off the film’s they have worked very hard on,” states Ms. Christina Brawner, video production teacher.

The event is run by Ms. Brawner’s video production class, and will include student-made films ranging from beginner level to advanced. Snacks will be sold before the production and during the ten minute intermission. Tickets are $5 pre-sale, and $6 at the door.

Christian Walsh is currently a news writer for The Mirror. He joined during his junior year and is in his first year of journalism.
