Looking back on the AP exams

Now that the AP exams are over, students have had time to reflect on their performance and determine whether or not their teachers thoroughly prepared them.

I feel like the AP exam went pretty well for me. I was pretty confident during the exam. I didn’t feel that nervous at all because I was prepared.

Do you think you were prepared well for your exam by your teacher/ class? Why or why not?

I feel like Ms. Shim prepared us. She always helped us when we had questions and I feel like Biology camp was really helpful.

Would you recommend this AP to other students? Why or why not?

Yes, I would recommend this class to other students. It is really fun because you will experience and learn many things.

How do you think that your AP exam went?

The exam seemed much easier than I remembered it being when I did my first mock exam. So I feel confident in how I did.

Do you think you were prepared well for your exam by your teacher/ class?

Yes. Mr. Ramiro made our class challenging and rigorous so that we were able to pass the exam.

Would you recommend this AP to other students?

Yes, I would totally recommend the class. It helped me for my AP Lang Exam and it teaches life lessons as well.

How do you think that your AP exam went?

Very well. I began studying in February and felt very prepared to take the exam when the time came in May. The anxiety leading up to the exam did not compare to the calmness I felt whilst taking the exam, allowing my knowledge to present itself.

Do you think you were prepared well for your exam by your teacher/ class?

Yes. Mr. Ferrin and his class prepared me very well for the exam as we did many reviews and he lectured thoroughly on the topics.

Would you recommend this AP to other students?

Yes 100%. This class enriches your knowledge of the tragedies of US history. I feel very educated on the good and bad of our country’s history. The class also improved my critical thinking skills and ability to make connections.

How do you think that your AP exam went?

To be honest it was not as bad as I thought it would be. I had a bad experience with Calc AB but with BC it was a lot more manageable.

Do you think you were prepared well for your exam by your teacher/ class?

My teacher prepared me since he made the class stress-free and took each concept step by step so everyone could understand it in a timely manner.

Would you recommend this AP to other students?

I would 100% recommend this class because of how manageable it was for me while taking 3 other APs and the majority of the class was just revisiting AB topics and expanding them.

How do you think that your AP exam went?

I think my AP exam went well with the MCQ being easier than I had expected. The prompts were also well-given, the prompts they gave us were really simple and it was easy to find rhetorical situations from the rhetorical prompt they gave us. It was also pretty simple to use the sources they gave me for my synthesis argument.

Do you think you were prepared well for your exam by your teacher/ class?

I think I was pretty well-prepared because our teacher gave us multiple choice questions that were similar to the actual exam but also helped us to make a rhetorical, argumentative, and synthesis essay and how to format it. This class is also easy to be self-taught because some of it is practically common knowledge.

Would you recommend this AP to other students?

I would highly recommend this AP to other students because I think it would help you learn to write essays and also help you for future classes in college.
