- Jazmin Ruiz (#21) scored many amazing layups throughout the game.
- Kenya Perryman (#54) was able to snap up many of the Hunters’s rebounds throughout the entire game as well.
- While the Hunters did put up an overall strong fight, they were already beginning to fall behind in points in the first quarter, and ultimately unable to successfully catch their prey.
What’s Next | The Wolves’ next game will be on Friday, Dec. 8, against Taft High School as an away game. The girls basketball team will then travel to another away game on Thursday, Dec. 14, against Kennedy High School.
Team Thoughts | “Both our varsity and junior varsity team played very strong until the end,” junior varsity team member Angalina Volpe said. “Our strong defense led us to have such a big win for our season so far.”
Our thoughts | The girls basketball team has been having an amazing season, winning all of their home games so far because of the hard work and dedication they’ve already put in. Their future looks very bright.
