Auditions for the spring musical were held on Wednesday, Jan. 19 in the auditorium after school.
Just four days before auditions, it was announced that the musical, previously “Footloose” would be changed to “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.”
43 students auditioned with up to two minutes of a song of their choice.
About 25 students received callbacks which were announced the next day and held on Jan. 21 in theater teacher Ms. Mollie Lief’s classroom.
