Double defeat for the boys and girls soccer teams.
The boys team lost their second consecutive league game of the season against San Fernando High School Tigers. On Wednesday, Dec. 8, the Tigers held home field advantage, dominating the game 3-0. They finished the first half leading 1-0 and later secured the win after scoring two goals in the second half and shutting out the Wolves.
This loss brought the team’s overall league record to 0-2. This puts them in last place in the Valley Mission soccer standings.
The team hopes to improve their start to the season against the Fulton Jaguars on Friday, Dec. 10 at 4:00 p.m. Although the Jaguars only boast a 1-3-1 overall record, they recorded their first win in their most-recent league match against Valley Academy of Arts and Sciences.
The girls team also lost their league game against San Fernando High School on the same day.
The Wolves were defeated at home 4-2. They will seek a comeback on Dec. 9 against the win-less Jaguars.
