BOYS TENNIS: Struggles in both the singles and doubles matches

The Boys Tennis Team visited Sylmar on Monday, Mar.20.

In singles play, the Wolves were unable to win any of the four matches played. Struggles with their serving, forehand, and backhand shots hindered their offensive prowess which caused them to play more on the defensive end. In the doubles matches, Van Nuys won one of their three matches. Talha Harooni and Hau Nguyen earned the sole victory of the day as they won 6-0, 6-1.

Final Score: 6-1

NEXT GAME: Van Nuys vs Kennedy on Thursday, Mar.22.

Devin Tse is the Sports Editor for The Mirror. He is a junior and a second-year member at the Van Nuys High School journalism class.

Devin enjoys watching and participating in sporting events. He is currently on the Boys Varsity Volleyball Team. Besides covering sports for The Mirror, he is also interested in the other activities occurring at Van Nuys High School.
