Seahawks Top Patriots 29-13 in Super Bowl LX

On Sunday, Feb. 08. The Seattle Seahawks played a great game against the New England Patriots with a winning score of 29-13 at the Levi’s Stadium. Most viewers agreed that it was the most boring Super Bowl game so far.

“I couldn’t even bear to watch the whole game,” freshman Isaac Lee said. “It was so boring and was so predictable that the Seahawks would win.”

CBS Sports live TV Seattle Seahawks linebacker Ernest Jones IV recorded 11 tackles in the Super Bowl LX victory over the Patriots. This was their first win after 12 years.

“I’m glad the Seahawks won, they deserve it.” junior Sophie Tessier said.

On the website USA today, Sam Darnold, the Seahawks’ quarterback, led the offense, with Kenneth Walker dominating the ground game. The “Dark Side” defense proved key, stifling the Patriots’ offense. Seattle maintained control, with the defense forcing three turnovers.

The score was not as close as the final 29-13 suggests, with New England scoring late. The victory marked a major turnaround for Sam Darnold, who was named a champion.

“The halftime show was more entertaining,” freshman Ashley Escamilla said. “But it was so random when Bad Bunny brought out Lady Gaga.”

This year’s Halftime Show artist was Bad Bunny and he performed his opening with his new latest hot song “Titi Me Pregunto.”

Bad Bunny’s 2026 Super Bowl LX set a new, all-time record with approximately 135.4 million viewers, surpassing the previous high of 133.5 million set by Kendrick Lamar in 2025. He also brought Lady Gaga out to perform “Die With a Smile” which a lot of people were thrown off due to the music vibe not clashing with the song.

Chloe Xanthe Sustento, a freshman, is on the staff of The Mirror, the award-winning student newspaper and website at Van Nuys High School in Los Angeles. She is interested in subjects related to math and science and currently plays volleyball as her extracurricular activity. After high school, she plans to apply to colleges like Caltech and hopes to pursue architecture as her career. Sustento is curious and open to new things. She’s easygoing and approachable, showing determination in what she wants while maintaining strong academic goals. One of her main goals is becoming valedictorian. She’s true to herself, and though she’s not perfect, she still gives her best. With all the support she gets from her friends, it helps her become more confident in trying new things. Volleyball also helped her become a social person. She used to struggle with socializing, but now that she’s more talkative, it has given her many benefits like being able to ask for suggestions or help. In conclusion, she is someone who’s willing to give things a try even if she has some doubts.
