Chloe Xanthe Sustento, a freshman, is on the staff of The Mirror, the award-winning student newspaper and website at Van Nuys High School in Los Angeles. She is interested in subjects related to math and science and currently plays volleyball as her extracurricular activity. After high school, she plans to apply to colleges like Caltech and hopes to pursue architecture as her career. Sustento is curious and open to new things. She’s easygoing and approachable, showing determination in what she wants while maintaining strong academic goals. One of her main goals is becoming valedictorian. She’s true to herself, and though she’s not perfect, she still gives her best. With all the support she gets from her friends, it helps her become more confident in trying new things. Volleyball also helped her become a social person. She used to struggle with socializing, but now that she’s more talkative, it has given her many benefits like being able to ask for suggestions or help. In conclusion, she is someone who’s willing to give things a try even if she has some doubts.
