The bottom line | On Monday, Sept. 29, the Wolves’ girls volleyball team unfortunately lost to the Kennedy cougars in an engaging home game with a final score of 0-3.

- Lauren Renard (#27) spiked the ball over the net, slamming it down and earning a point for the Wolves as the Cougars were unable to return it
- Nancy Paiz (#16) chased down a stray ball which kept the rally alive, but Kennedy ultimately came out on top
- Lauren Renard (#27) bravely dove for the ball, but it fell short and didn’t make it over the net
What’s next | The Wolves’ volleyball team will face off against the Reseda Regents this Wednesday, Oct. 1, at Reseda.
Word on campus | “I find it fun and suspenseful watching the girls play and fight for the ball,” senior Ashley Baralles said. “But today I felt disappointed.”
Team thoughts | “I think we did well at hitting the ball and receiving outside hits but our weakest points were not covering enough ground and I think we lacked communication with each other,” outside hitter Kimberly Nunez said.
