Howl-o-ween at Van Nuys High School
Halloween at VNHS was one of the most visually interesting days of the school year so far. Our host, Ocean Threats asked students what they were dressed as, as well as their opinions on Halloween and if they think that you can age out of the festivities.

About the contributors
Aidyn Kinchen, Online Editor
Aidyn Kinchen is a first year journalism student and a junior. In the Journalism Room, he takes on the role of an Associate Online Editor and uploads all the articles to the website. Outside of journalism, he is a third year Digital Media student who can be found in the equipment room experimenting with the many professional and casual cameras available. He combines these two passions in his work as a co-producer for “The Real Humans of Van Nuys,” a video journalism collaboration between Digital Media and The Mirror. An avid music listener, he indulges in many different genres and often favorites whatever catches his ear to his library.
Gianmarco Razuri, Photographer
Gianmarco Razuri, a senior, is a photographer for the photography section as well as the videographer and editor for the Real Humans of Van Nuys High School, a man on the street interview style show run by students. Razuri plays tennis for the school. He’s obsessed with comic books, especially movies based on them. His love for superheroes started his love for filmmaking. He enjoys writing the most out of all the positions in a film crew because he loves the experience of seeing his ideas transfer from paper to screen. Even as a little kid he would create fictional characters and draw them into his own mini-novels. Currently he’s in his fourth year of video production as a teachers assistant with plenty of experience in camera, writing, producing, directing and editing.
