Holiday spirit comes alive with the sound of music

❑ PHOTO STORY | Vannaires Singers, Marching Band, Orchestra, Drumline and Chamber Strings Ensemble combine for an end of the year concert.

On Dec. 17, the musical groups on campus closed the year off with a holiday concert. The concert featured everyone from the orchestra to the marching band to the Vocal group “the Vannaires”.

The first half of the concert featured the orchestra playing four songs that they practiced throughout the year. Drumline was featured later playing three holiday songs. Vannaires singers Max Song and Maya Diaz dueted “Santa Can’t You Hear Me” before Max’s solo performance of “That’s Christmas to me”.

During the intermission, attendants were invited outside to view the marching band performing on the front lawn.

Beverly Regino, Creative Director
Beverly Regino is the Creative Director for her third and final year in journalism as a senior. She is in charge of photography, layout, graphic design, and social media. An artist at heart, her main passions include drawing, painting, and dressing up, with a side of playing single-player story-driven video games and listening to music. After graduating, her goal is to get into either college: ArtCenter College of Art and Design or Laguna College of Art and Design and pursue a job as a concept artist for video games and film. But of course, her main dream consists of owning at least two high-quality light sabers and running away into the sunset with the love of her life, Bella, her white chihuahua.
