Memorable Moments:
- Nikkie Glaser, the host of the night, was a hit. Her opening monologue picked at Ozempic, “Welcome to the 82nd Golden Globes, Ozempic’s biggest night,” Sean “Diddy” Combs, “I’m upset too, the after party isn’t gonna be as good, no baby oil this year “ and Timothee Chalamet’s thin mustache, “You have the most gorgeous eyelashes on your lip”.
- Some moving speeches were those delivered by Demi Moore and Jon Chu. Moore touched on “never being enough” and being a “popcorn actress”, she thought she’d never get here. Chu talked about how much it meant to him and the cast that there were so many people that fell in love with the movie, just like they did. He ended his speech with a meaningful quote to let us all know, “we can take the world of the Yellow Brick Road, and maybe discover we can fly.”
