According to the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, covid-19 cases in Van Nuys continue to rise. As of May 1, there were 307 cases of covid-19 reported in the city out of the current population of 93,194.
There have been nine reported deaths related to covid-19 in Van Nuys as of April 29.
The first covid-19 case was reported in Van Nuys on March 19.
