To celebrate Black History month, the Vocal department, Dance department and the Black Student Union will organize the Black history Concert. Featuring different genres of music including gospel, spiritual, RnB, congo square, drum circle and poetry, the concert will tell the whole story of black history.

“It feels so good to share this music with everybody and we think that you might get a good feeling out of it too. You might happen to learn some things that you might need for a history test as well!” said Ms. Brianne Arevelo, the Vocal Director.

On Friday, Feb. 7, the concert will be in the Hubbard Auditorium. Presale tickets are 6 dollars for students and 8 for adults. Tickets bought at the door will be 8 dollars for students and 10 for adults.
