As March Madness approaches, even Van Nuys High School is ready to participate and show off their basketball skills. During the week of March 9, the students participated in basketball games to win and eventually face the teachers in the ultimate showdown on Friday, March 13. Ultimately, the seniors beat the other students and competed against the teachers in a riveting game.
Van Nuys High School’s very own Mr. Joseph Agruso provides an inside look into his Period 3 auto shop class, and their daily routines. Either in his classroom, or his auto shop, he is able to transform basic teachings into long life lessons. Where he is able to provide a safe space for students to learn and strive in their automotive endeavors either independently or with his guidance.
At Club Rush at Van Nuys High School on Jan. 23 the eye-catching booths drew students and teachers to various clubs.
