Descanso Gardens offers the Enchanted: Forest of Light, is a stunning nighttime event where visitors walk through an illuminated garden filled with beautiful lights, interactive displays and festive scenery. With tickets ranging from $28 to $35 per person, this experience is located at 1418 Descanso Dr, La Cañada Flintridge, CA 91011.

The LA Zoo Lights annual event is a must-see with beautiful animal-shaped lanterns and themed light displays.
Experience holiday joy at the L.A. Zoo

The LA Zoo Lights event at the Los Angeles Zoo is an annual holiday tradition, featuring spectacular light displays, animal-themed decorations and interactive exhibits. Running through January with hours from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., general admission tickets range from $23 to $28, depending on the day. This event is located at 5333 Zoo Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90027

Although the winters are sunny in California, you can get into the holiday spirit by visiting the outdoor ice skating by the beach at the Ice at Santa Monica rink.
Enjoy winter fun with a California twist

If you enjoy ice skating, Ice at Santa Monica is an outdoor rink located near the beach, offering a fun and festive skating experience with a beachfront view. Open daily from through January general admission is $20 per person, including skate rental, with hours running from 10:00 a.m.– 10:00 p.m., with extended hours on weekends.
