At around 6 p.m. the sunset begins, creating a mesmerizing blend of warm colors. One thing to keep in mind is that parking is $8 and there are only 20 spots in the lot. However, you can park at the free street parking along the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). The beach is open all week. It is recommended to visit during daylight hours since there are steep trails and stairs.

At Long Beach CA you can take the AquaBus to a restaurant called Parkers’ Lighthouse. The AquaBus is a short five to 10 minute ride to and from the restaurant. The AquaBus is priced at $1 per person and is complimentary for children aged two and under. Parkers’ Lighthouse is known for their wide variety of seafood. This Valentines day, they’re offering a three-course prix fixe dinner $99 per person. For their exclusive Valentine menu, you can order their most popular entree, the Mesquite Grilled Salmon. While eating with your significant other, live bands and singers can be seen outside the restaurant. After eating, you can walk across a bridge known for attaching love locks on the railing, buy a lock and put it on the gate with you and your significant other’s initials.
