Leslie Cristobal, a freshman, is on the staff of The Mirror, the award-winning student newspaper and website at Van Nuys High School in Los Angeles. For fun, she scrolls through social media, listens to many types of music and, most importantly, spends time with relatives and friends making memories. Since middle school, Cristobal has had a strong passion for playing the violin, which she has been deeply committed to for the past three years. Music plays a big part in her life and helps her find comfort. As a fan of pop music, she especially loves listening to artists like Olivia Rodrigo and Billie Eilish. She supports mental health awareness and believes there should be support for those who struggle with this. Traveling is one of her big dreams. One day, Cristobal hopes to travel around the world, including France, to see beautiful attractions like the Eiffel Tower and try authentic French foods. After graduating, she wants to attend either UCLA to major in business or Juilliard to pursue a music career.
