Students all around campus love to express themselves and their personalities through their clothes and style. Many of these students love to accessorize with jewelry and headbands. These outfits give students an outlet within school to show who they are and what they like.

Arielle Martinez, a freshman, is on the staff of The Mirror, the award-winning student newspaper and website at Van Nuys High School in Los Angeles. Her plans after she graduates are to attend community college for two years for cosmetology school. The reason she chose to go to cosmetology school is because after she gets her license and builds her clientele, she can work on her own time instead of someone else’s time. Another reason is because she really likes to do hair, makeup and nails. A place Martinez would like to visit is Greece because she and her family have always wanted to go there to experience the beaches and see how beautiful everything is. Her mom’s wish is to go there in the future. Her favorite music to listen to is Spanish music, and her favorite music artist is Herencia de Patrones. Something Martinez likes to do is go out with her friends to the mall, go out to eat or even go to their houses to do nothing but use their phones or sit there and talk.
