With only two weeks till tech week, the cast works hard to shape and clean things to perfection.

The tension from last week due to the issues with professionalism is slowly dissipating as the ensemble gets back on track, clarifying the many dances taught throughout the past couple of weeks. For Junior Lucy Tait, the process has been going by quite quickly.

“Rehearsals for this show have been flying by,” she commented. “I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited for a show before. It’s been so much fun.”

This week also included some fittings for the many costumes the cast is set to have. With over five or six costumes for each person in the cast, the costume crew works diligently to make sure each one fits.

“We’re still in the process of fitting but we’ll be moving on to alterations next week so we can have everything ready by tech,” said

This week another few dances were taught including “Does Your Mother Know” and “Take a Chance on Me” as well as “Waterloo” one of the dances for the bows at the end of the show.

It’s all starting to feel real now,” explained Senior Adrianna Bean. “With the set coming in and costume fittings starting and getting all the numbers on their feet, it’s really nice to see everything coming along.”

With the end of this week fastly approaching, that only leaves one week till tech week, two weeks till dress rehearsals and three weeks till opening night! Don’t wait on getting tickets, right now they are for sale online, just go to this link or you can find the link in the instagram bio of @vnhs.theatre.
