The Van Nuys High School Wolves and the Panorama High School Pythons flip the coin to decide who will get possession of the ball and determine the winning team.

Highlights |

  • VNHS got their first down losing at 0-21.
  • Wolves got their second down at 0-28.
  • Marlon Figueroa (#11) scored the first touchdown for the Wolves.
  • Nathan Velasco (#12) scored a touchdown for the Wolves from across the field.

What’s Next | This Friday, Sept. 29, there will be a home game against San Fernando High School. Their next game is on Friday, Oct. 6, at Reseda High School.

Team thoughts | “I thought if we were going to lose, we were going to lose big and if we were going to win we were going to barely win,” Varsity Receiver Marlon Figueroa said.

Our thoughts | Although many players clearly showed all the hard work they put into winning, it wasn’t enough to beat Panorama. If they want to win when facing off against other schools, they’re going to have to start practicing more and playing smarter.

For the books |

  • 2 wins, 3 losses
  • Valley Mission League
