Mia Levi, a freshman, is part of the social media and podcast teams for The Mirror, the award-winning student newspaper and website at Van Nuys High School in Los Angeles. She is extremely passionate about journalism and looks forward to spending the next four years growing and learning at Van Nuys. In the future, Mia hopes to pursue a career related to her current extracurricular activities, such as dance and acting. She’s also open to discovering new interests by trying different things, like journalism. She values creative freedom, which is what drew her to journalism in the first place. Through her roles, Mia hopes to explore all the opportunities journalism has to offer while giving students a powerful voice through her work. Outside of school, she loves to socialize and spend quality time with friends and family. With determination, Mia is ready to take on the responsibility of creating a beneficial content platform for everyone to relate to.
