The bottom line | The varsity football team took a final loss against the Panorama High School Jaguars on Sat. Nov. 30, tragically losing with a score of 29-38.

Highlights |

  • Junior quarterback Carlos Herrera (#7) made a touchdown
  • Junior middle linebacker Abraham Ceja (#13) punt blocked and made a touchdown
  • Senior wide receiver and corner Edwin made a 20 yard touchdown
  • There was a head injury causing for a player to sit out the rest of the game

What’s next | Congratulating the Wolves on an astonishing season, the Varsity football team season comes to an end with a saddened loss.

Team thoughts |I thought we had the firepower to win,” Senior running back Marlon Figueroa said. “All we needed to do was execute and knowing myself knew I could do just that. I believe the team’s performance wasn’t where it was supposed to be as most of the team didn’t seem like they were fully there at the moment.”

“I think the game was a bit rocky,” Senior safety and wide receiver Louis Welling said. “It kicked off to a start we wouldn’t have wanted,  and I felt we weren’t playing at the level we had been throughout the entire playoffs. The player that stood out most to me was Abraham Ceja, he was constantly playing his heart out and making plays. He was definitely the star player in my eyes in this game.”

Our thoughts | Although there was a head injury, the wolves continued to play hard trying their best to get that win but unfortunately got defeated.

The ones she enjoys most come in a variety of flavors with diverse toppings. After she graduates Herrera plans on heading to college majoring in something that has to do with the arts specifically, performing arts as her dream has always been appearing on Broadway. She is one of two team managers for the boys football team.
