Damien Herrera, a freshman, is on the staff of The Mirror, the award-winning student newspaper and website at Van Nuys High School in Los Angeles. He enjoys writing and learning new skills in journalism, and looks forward to contributing stories that inform and engage the school community. In his free time, Herrera likes to play video games, spend time with his family and listen to music.
