Alexa Ballesteros is an Opinion writer for The Mirror. She is a junior in her first year of journalism. Aside from writing articles, she writes personal poetry. She’s also a rock music enthusiast, specifically listening to the metal and punk subgenres. She is currently the Communications Director for the campus club, Disadvantaged Youth Aid. Alexa plans to go to a four-year university and major in creative writing.
