Honoring our seniors: Nov. 1 pep rally

The school gathered to celebrate seniors across campus for this month’s student pep rally, hosted by ASB.

The school held a pep rally in the big gym today to commemorate senior night for the football and flag football teams, along with cheer, band and dance company.

Ms. Zagnoli’s advanced dance, dance company, band and the cheer team all performed, helping entertain and encourage students to attend tonight’s senior night football game and senior flag football game.

Kicking off the rally with a dance by Ms. Zagnoli’s advanced dance class, the crowd went wild for the colorfully dressed dancers who performed on the gymnasium floor.

Next to take the stage was Mrs. Hula’s Dance Company, who dressed in camo for tonight’s “camo out” game and performed an energetic dance that amused the audience.

The cheer team also did stunts and performed their own dance before presenting this year’s graduating seniors to the crowd. They announced the names of those graduating from each of the different teams while forming a tunnel for them to run through while being cheered on by the audience.

Tickets for the game are $10 for adults and $5 for students.

However, seniors with a student ID are allowed in for free the first 15 minutes of the game.

  • For this pep rally, the festivities were focused on seniors across campus, from dance to sports.

  • Senior Dance Company Members perform one of their well-known hip hop numbers, warming up the crowd for a great pep rally.

  • Shortly before performing, Ms. Reesa Zagnoli’s second period advanced jazz class gathers to rehearse their number.

  • Music filled the big gym as students entered, prepared to show off their school spirit and cheer the flag and tackle football teams to victory.
