Christmas time at Disneyland holds a special place in many hearts and has helped to create millions of memories across the globe. Behind the hefty price tag comes a festive theme park full of well-known characters and properties that are sure to put a smile on your face no matter of age.

I have always been a creative person, my love for art started when I was a baby drawing on my bedroom walls. My creative hobbies have upgraded from wall drawings to oil paintings, jewelry making, sewing, and most importantly, photography. I aspire to be a photographer when I'm older, just like my dad. He sparked my interest in photography and has supported me through my journey. On my weekends I work as a barista at a coffee shop, and I do local craft fairs to sell my art. Although I’m sad this is my last year of high school and my last year working with the Mirror, I can't wait to start college and advance my creative skills.

MISSION STATEMENT

Established in 2016, the Mirror is an award-winning student-run online publication designed to deliver timely, accurate news as well as unique and eye-opening opinions, reviews and photography to the Van Nuys High School community. It exists as a platform for students to utilize their First Amendment right to express themselves freely and without fear.
